About me
Hi, I’m Lillie Brody, LMHC-D, a therapist specializing in eating disorder recovery, body image, and women’s mental health. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, disordered eating, and chronic dieting, as well as concerns related to body image, trauma, chronic illness, and major life transitions.
I previously served as a clinical team lead at a higher level of care (PHP/IOP) eating disorder program, where I developed extensive experience supporting individuals in complex recovery and transitions from structured treatment into everyday life.
I’m drawn to this work because I’ve seen how meaningful change is possible with the right support. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I integrate evidence-based practices with a relational lens, helping you build insight, develop practical tools, and move toward a more compassionate and sustainable relationship with yourself. My approach is grounded in a Health at Every Size® (HAES)-aligned, non-diet, trauma-informed, fat-positive, and anti-racist framework. I am committed to helping clients heal their relationship with food and their bodies while actively challenging weight stigma, diet culture, and systems of oppression that impact mental health.
I work with clients across New York seeking eating disorder therapy, body image support, and a more sustainable, compassionate way of living.
